I’m working on the picture book version of this story for children that will be easier for you to finish.

I read that book over 5 years ago. I enjoyed it.

I write about 1-2 hours a day (that includes editing). That doesn’t sound like much but it’s consistent on a yearly basis.

Starting from a blank page, I usually average around 1000 words an hour. Stories are a bit less (800 words). It takes me longer to edit something than to write out its draft.

The idea for this story came to me in a dream. I wrote the draft of it less than two months before I appeared on Dr. Oz, which coincidentally had four women yelling at me.

A. I don’t know the answer to this. I just think that the notion that older “women are desperate” is a cultural myth — certainly at the very end of the age curve there are fewer men, but I have never seen data that actually confirms that women in their fifties are more unhappy about being alone or are more alone than men their age….in fact the terrible data on illness, depression etc tends to skew around single older men. (not that that is good!)

The title of this post had “American” in it. That’s because after you fuck an American girl, there is nothing worth sticking around for. You got the best part of her.
