You could see this coming when Terry Rice, a true conservative who had the support of most Republicans to become Speaker, was thrown aside, and Carter was chosen to become Speaker with RINO and Democrat votes. As a result, Beebe had more control during this Legislative Session with it’s phony R majority than he did in the previous Session when Dems actually had a numerical majority. Far too many of these Republicans became more interested in notoriety and a potential political career than they were in fighting for what was right! Republicans forgot what they were elected to do, and it most certainly was not to implement Obamacare in Arkansas! |
