This was the most discusting and disappointing vote of my 25 years around the State House. It still bothers me that only one Democrat voted to make this barbaric act on a child a crime.
Now, as with other issues, it looks like procedural actions will again prevent this from becoming a crime by using divisive politics and accusations of racism as a tool.
Absolutely disheartening ….. no discusting!
